Here is some LGT about 60 hours after spawning. This spawn sat in jars for about 3 months. Still looks like it should beat contamination.

there's a few on top but mainly looks like side pin city over here, even some showing up on the bottom of my shoe boxes. im only on my second grow but still, i hardly had any on my first a few months ago. my first grow was on my dresser with 3 lights on 5 boxes and the ac vent directly above them( though i did have it shut minimal air escaped). the main difference is ive moved everything into my renovated (3' deep x 6' wide)closet and the colonized grain that has been sitting for about two months(roughly). theres no door on my closet to prevent airflow but maybe just by being a closet it is restricting airflow i dont know. i suppose by it pretty much being an enclosed space the indirect lights i put in there might be raising the temperature too much, i certainly can feel the temp difference but its not much. what are yalls opinions? ill post pics in the morning and get some batteries for my thermometer to get it working.

edit: on another note, if there are side and bottom pins then maybe they were getting to much air and either not enough or too much water and were possibly (running) away from the heat i dont know. harder then i thought to get a picture of my closet.

The surface is getting dry while the sides, and bottom of the tubs are achieving the optimal microclimate.

Well one of my 3 shoeboxes is fruiting, the other 2 are just chilling. The one that is fruiting has a couple pins about as big around as my thumb. I think I will be taking more LGT clones, lol. O yea my 31 LGt pint sized cakes are colonizing at a nice pace! I might spawn a few of them to shoeboxes.

Seems like bigger doses do it more, I don't do a lot of tea, as I have disappointed myself doing tea. Some how I just don't trip hard from tea, well with exception of the 1st time. Those 4 grams kicked my ass that night. It is usually not an issue until the 5g+ mark. Last time I tripped I got sick at the peak, but it was more a motion sickness, as I was tripping balls and shit was moving around. Not much came up, more of a couple dry heaves.
I had the same problem, but it went away after I started using an alcohol extraction. I used to get nausea and itching really bad, the alcohol extraction takes most of the impurities out and is nothing but clean trips.

psilocybin/psilocin are soluble in methanol and water. and only slightly soluble in ethanol. ethanol based extactions are not going to be as effective as simple teas. for 5gs im boiling shrooms in the water for at least 15min. and i always eat the mushroom goop for fun.
boil them teas good. enchant your teas with positive thoughts as the water boils.

My teas always turn out weak, BUT I think they would be better if I could grind the shrooms into powder.

It definitely helps, also, adding some concentrated lemon juice helps break down the cell walls releasing more of the goodies.
