I took some 6t's last night. Also put a piece on a slant, will see if I made a clean transfer. Better to learn now then later with a good clone. I think for a while, I will keep taking transfers and every so often expand a plate and knock up a bunch of jars. At some point I will find that killer clone.

Aye so here here are those tubs, forgot i did take a picture of one of the grain jars so ill post that too.
heres the "practice" tub that i cased 2 days ago. 3 O'clock on the bottom there is what i believe trich spot as well as in other places. i have hope for it but not much. i also dont like how wet my coir was so ill make it a tad bit more dry next time:
thers a spot at the top right corner on the 4th pic that looks questionable in a pic but its just a lump of coir. heres the clean so far tubs that i spawned on the 11th:

what yall think?

i need to do some transfers. the plates i transferred are looking good. this LGT throws me off sometimes. when i do a transfer it slows down a little, then speeds up after a few days. i almost think it stalls, then it just takes off. im also comparing it side by side with TYC which is lightning speed. the TYC has colonized an entire plate in the time the LGT took to colonize 1/3 of a plate. ill try to update some images later if i get around to making some transfers. im so damn lazy right now. but the time is nigh.

Had to throw all my current culture in the fridge so they don't hit the wall before tomorrow.
This pectoral muscle injury sucks. But I think tomorrow I'll be up to par~ and pour 60 dishes for transfers.

Same. Got some nice organized growth on my 5th transfer. Took a leading edge piece of that to a blank dish. Of my 4 g2g jars 1 got cobweb, 2 are questionable and the other is looking pretty good.
I also got a pin on my 1st transfer plate so I put that to a new dish. Got 14 jars waiting to be knocked up

Finally in the game! Both Lucy GT plates germinated, a few days after I inoculated them.
Also from Ham a nice Cambodian (cubensis) print, and from another generous member a Pan Bisporus. All germinated at the same time and lookin pretty clean I might add!

mushies! Those Cambodians are tight. I see that crass record in that record player underneath those pasties, haha. I used to like crass a lot. Not so much anymore. Their singer could flow. Wish he had better subject matter to ramble on about these days is all. Welcome to the show! Glad to have ya and its about time haha. Nice work everyone. Looking fantastic!
My tubs and shoeboxes are about to fruit. That LC is well colonized and needs to be aspirated. Made 4 tray cultures out of some quart jars last night by simply casing them. Onward, and upward.

While I'm waiting on my birdseed jars and making transfers i knocked up a bag of pre-cooked rice just for shits and giggles, I guess I'll see if Lucy likes Basmati rice

Hard to see here but there is actually some growth in the bag so far ha, I'll keep this updated if by chance some fruits actually come about from this ha

Here's some white millet lgt spawn for you, I don't see millet very often on here. This is my go to grain. These were g2g from the rye that I started with earlier in the thread. They should be ready by monday.

I have some fully colonized mini tubs going already, nothing really worth showing until the pinset is in.

Just out of curiosity mushboy, I've never put a colonized grain to agar and I wonder if any bacteria grew? I suspect some grains have endospores that are impossible to kill

Damn those are beautiful Kenetic, what will you spawn those to? Poo, Coir/Verm? My birdseed should be pretty similar being mostly millet it looks like, so I think I should try whatever you suggest for this grain.

Thanks man. Honestly I stick to cvg simply because it does what I need it to and its easy to get, store and use. I only grow cubes atm so I haven't had the need for another sub, but if you really want to gain some real skillz or grow some of the stronger species feel free to use some of the other subs.
It really doesn't matter. Just grow some shrooms and have fun!

Only if the media supports that type of bacteria to grow.
