Shaken jars coming along nicely.

Kenetic style inoculations are doing fine.

The bag recovering the day after the shake.

Took nine sector transfers.

Some of the sectors are really getting down there. (Closer to a single sector isolate).
In one of the LC's, the wedge decided to sink.

Going to go ahead and let that one colonize .
The wedge didn't sink in the other culture, so it was shaken. What culture was available was drawn. Not much. Enough to noc some agar, or a few grain jars or something.

I'm also just here to watch how this grow-along turns out. It's moving along more quickly than I expected. Good luck, everyone

I have a QT jar colonizing now. If it turns out clean like I think It will I will g2g it, if it's fairly clean but not good enough to g2g I will spawn a shoe box or something. Also got about 250 ml grain LC colonizing. Uses just a couple small pieces, they have given me a couple globes of mycelium so far.

I ordered some 5ml luer syringes to help with fine control of small spore innoculations. Going to spread fewer spores out over several jars this time. New 100qt SAB, and thus agar work, is in the works. You guys are going to love it.

Noice work, gents!
Current status of LGT as of an hour ago. Grain jars approaching full colonization. Kenetic-style inoculations running along. T4 transfers have some really nice sectoring.

5 quart bag of whole oats approaching full colonization. This bag was inoculated with 2 full petri plates of well colonized agar.

LGT LC inoculated with T2 transfer from spore. The culture who's agar chunk sunk.

Looks like we'll be spawning to some bulk substrates, and drawing up some LC soon.

Made a 2ml spore syringe with 1/8th of the print this time. Inoculated four pint jars with 1/2ml each, vice 1/4 print (2ml) in one jar last time. I should get at least one good jar. If my math is correct, and it is, the odds of any one jar contaminating has been reduced to 12.5% compared to my first rodeo with Lucy. Odds are good enough. I'm not doing eight jars.
