I did 3rd transfer last night. I have 1 plate that I saved, looks to be free of contaminations. I may try a "needle biopsy" to get a couple clean bits and attempt a small batch of LC. Maybe I'll throw a couple chunks of it to some pints of oats, and if they look good I could use them as masters.

Here goes the LGT. Before being shook, chopped, and transferred.

Shook jars. Took a few sectors. Inoculated two LC's. Transferred the remainder of the culture into quart grain jars.

I pulled a Kenetic with the wedge transfers. Here goes the 5 quart bag.

It was inoculated with 2 full 15mmX100mm well colonized petri cultures.

I got one that looks rather clean, going to put a tiny ting piece to some grain LC, and see what happens with that, then I will knock up 1 or 2 jars of oats and see what happens. Hell it looks better than other cultures I used.

Well I dropped a small piece in a gran LC last night, will see how that goes. Used the rest of the plate for a jar of oat. Made sure I left the center behind incase any thing was hiding on the piece transferred to the plate. I smelled what was left in the plate after and there was no smell indicating bacteria. I know, I know, that doesn't prove anything but makes me feel like I have a better chance.

The shook jars are recovering. The Kenetic style inoculations are recovering. The section transfers are tearing it up. The LC is unhappy though.

The chunk of agar used to inoculate the LC with was too big. Therefore, it didn't sink. Causing culture to begin to take hold, and run across the top of the media.

There's no turning back now. Once the culture colonizes the top of the media. It will suffocate the culture underneath. Fortunately, there is some growth started at the bottom.

Not all is lost, yet. I can still shake the crap out of these LC's. Before the mat of mycelium get much bigger. There will be enough viable culture to grab a few syringes. The mat of mycelium will verily thwart the drawing up of culture process. If allowed to get too much bigger.
Here goes a look at the 5 quart bag. That was inoculated will two whole plates. Of well colonized live culture on agar. Just before being shook.
