I got a nice cap about2.5 inches last night, but didn't print it as I discovered mold in that tub:(.
Took my 1st set of transfers from clone plates last night. Some nice looking growth. I can't wait to get a chance to test some Lucy clones.

Those are nice tombos! Have you weighed them yet? Looks like you got some 20-30g puppies in there at least. I think I misspoke on mine, I think it was actually 116g first flush, man I need to keep an accurate log

Lucy isolate has been put to oats+coir with 15ml of GLI. Good times ahead.

Do you fruit in vitro like that often Morel? Or is that just to help select nice fruits to clone or something? Just curious

I didn't take any pics, but my lucy shoebox flushed in the part that had not flushed yet. I would say it was part of 1st flush, just a slower culture. BUT it gave me some solid chunkers with big ass caps. I love the genetics of this variety.

Not very often. It's a great way to fruit suspect ms spawn for a clone.

Ah I see, think I'll try that with my next plates, I would have caught this first pigmented batch before going into a tray had I done that

Exactly.
It uses fewer resources than a shoebox to test your isolates first before committing to them. I'm printing a few of the caps in the pic above now. The isolate in the syringes hasn't been tested yet. I'm not concerned about committing a whole tub. It's extremely rhizomorphic and I'm up to my eyeballs in Lucy plates as it is. I'm letting those plates pin to clone later. The Golden Halo plate I isolated, from rhizos growing up the sides of my first tub, is full of knots. I'm putting a couple wedges to two GLI Masters today.

even these pics don't do the justice of their size and bulk. here a weight of one of the clusters...
I'm still sorting out all my pics and will be putting more up as I come up on them.
oddly I often find these dense fuckers dry to about 20% rather than the average 10%.
Thinking maybe my dry environment reduces the amount of water weight in the mushroom while growing or at least by the time I pick it's only 80% water due to be exposed to the dry air for so long... Just a theory but I've accounted this on almost all my big thick'ns recently not just this variety.
Any one else?

I'm finding mine aren't very thick and dry to almost nothing. Probably just my conditions. We'll see how my tub turns out. I didn't have the heart to dump my GLI Master down the toilet after I pulled the LI. I dumped the jar out on top of my eq substrate. Maybe I'll get a sneek peek of the phenotype before the main show.

My largest fruits were all around 15-17g wet and the stems were pretty beefy, did a little potency test of only like .75-1g dried and was surprised to have some nice euphoria and some drifting/melting visuals even at that low a dose, I'll do a larger test soon of 1.5-2 g and see how that goes but this batch already seems pretty damn potent

Biggest shrooms I've grown so far, out of a shoebox nonetheless. 2qt oat spawn 1:1 I've been using a syringe with a long dispensing needle and bottom watering with 30-50cc of water once a day when the pins come in. Still some bigger ones I haven't picked yet, gonna let the caps open up so I can snatch some prints
That cluster reminded me of a shroom octopus lol and the other pic is some second flush pins on an older shoebox I have
