Help with my first agar project

I am working on my agar skills and figured I'd try cloning one of my b+ mushrooms. Can I get some help figuring out the best section(s) to take wedges from this pasty plate to continue on. Sorry about the pics, this is the best I could get. This sample is dime size at the moment.

I would let it grow out bigger, maybe quarter size.
12 o'clock looks nice. Just pick a spot that's healthy and clean. Weak, whispy myc you'll know when you see.
Your plate looks clean I dont see any bacteria or mold , looks like youre doing fine

This is what it looks like today. Original 12 I believe is now 9 o clock. I think it is almost quarter size. I am going to be transferring tomorrow. How many samples should I take from this?

That looks great man, I wish my pasty plates looked that good. I tried to zig zag the spores, and it just became a giant patch of fluffy myc.

If it was me I'd just take one. You can throw this plate in the fridge if you want or let it grow out some more.
If you think you need another or different transfer you can go back and get another

Thanks, This is just one of two useful plates out of SIX. Right now I'm just hoping I don't mess up the transfer.

Thanks for the advice. Does the refrigerator stop the mycelium growth on the agar?

Yes. Refrigerator is for storage for later use down the line, but keep it somewhere room temp, dry, and with a bit of ambient light and your plates should be OK

Yea. Not just for storing your cultures but if you have something you need to set aside for a bit its a great way to keep the myc from filling out the plate.
