Maybe it's not your day to be preping any grains.
 Sorry man, have a hug.

Don't drop them and maintenance of the seal is crucial

I don't see how you would ever get the lid on/off with it bent like that. It's ok though man...I recently dumped 10 gallons of water all over my carpeted floor.

In case you aren't already doing this, you need to regularly take the seal out and lubricate it. A thin layer of vegetable oil works. Even with regular maintenance they need to be replaced periodically. Sorry for your loss.

lol I know basic maintenance but I appreciate it guys. The old one blew but it wasn't the seal it ended up... it was weird it came out the handle. I RTV'd the screws and got the rust off but same thing happens every time I hit 15 psi for 5 mins or so.
As for my other one it's fucked. I lit up a cig and just looked at it for a min. Realized it was fucked and that's a lesson learned

Some really can't handle operating above 14 or 15psi. Try running it on 13 or 14, just add a half hour.

I have an old Mirro that will leak out of the handle if it isn't sitting "just right". I think if the handle is closed but the lid lock can't seat 100% completely, it leaks. Once I literally had to just touch it and it sealed right up and worked fine.

Same thing, I have a smaller one that always leaks out the handle at 15PSI. I haven't tried fixing it really, I figured if it's at least staying @15psi then everything inside is still getting sterilized, whether it's leaking or not. It did that since it was brand new too.

Try using Teflon tape on the screw for the leaky handles.

I already took it apart, they are screws. So what's the cheapest biggest option?

Teflon tape ftw. 3 wraps around the threads. Make sure you wrap it counter clockwise too. Clean the threads with a brush first too.

Well depends on what way youre looking at it. I always do it the way I'm about to screw it in, so counter clockwise in that regards. If you're holding the screws point towards you, clockwise for sure

Well I'm thinking of just purchasing one instead of tryna fix these two. I mean it might be possible to use a hammer and get the side flat. But I just don't feel safe running that at 15 psi

You need it to be flat why exactly? Does the lid not fit or something?

Lid won't go on. I mean it's probably off by like 1/10 an inch. I have like 40 syringes and a 150 lbs of grains ready
