still searching with no luck finding any subs, hopefully this rain can kick start MY season by the looks of it I am the only one who cant find any.
it seems the spots all get hit pretty hard by the time I can get out and have a search, what is the weekend or under the light of the moon.
at least i have finally found something this year!(currently in freezer and I'm not sure if i will consume at some stage).

and just one question if someone could help me?
I have read on forums and maybe even in this thread but just to clear it up... subs are not the only active mushrooms in south Australia correct?
what other mushrooms are active? from memory there may be 4? and what one other then sub am i most likely to find in winter? thank you.

Make sure you do your research before consuming amanita muscaria, and by many accounts (but not my own) not really worth the effort.

Erowid has good information on amanita muscaria, I recommend you reading tje trip reports. They are nothing like psilocybe or psilocybin mushrooms.

I should have placed a caveat on my prior advice.
With Amanita preperation and method of ingestion is very important.
Do your homework before attempting.
