bod´s unmodified tub tek question, and pinning strategy???

i am doing bod´s tek. got straight choir and brazil caramba mutli spore spawned to rye. i mixed the cooked choir and spawned rye together on 4/8 (4 days ago) and it is colonizing nicely. i didnt put any casing layer on, but was thinking of casing with str8 verm (this is all i have on hand and it seemed to work good on my trays in my first gh grow with satisfactory results for me), just to maintain surface moisture while i am away working all day.
i am wondering if someone can clarify when to put this into fruiting? i put my last batch into fruiting early i would say. it took weeks for them to pin in my gh. what are some of your favorite pinning strategies. if bod is reading this i would like some input from the master himself. i have heard of wax paper or bubble wrap, but bod thinks this tek is outdated and useless. i am all ears. thanks in advance.

People fruit when they spawn, so highly unlikely you put it in fruiting conditions too early. To maintain good surface conditions, you just leave it lol. Mono's are set and forget.

maybe i phrased it wrong or did not use the correct terminology, but i was referring to fruiting as adding light and increasing fae to induce pinning and fruits. i have seen threads where people leave their colonized grain mixed with their bulk substrate in a dark plastic trashbag closed and when it was time to fruit (which is what i am trying to figure out) they cut the top of the bag off added light, etc...
anyone? looking for some info and guidance. otherwise i will improvise and figure it out on my own. thanks

Turn the lid over. Put it on upside down until pins form about an inch then offset the lid a bit to increase fae
Fuck the bag. Put it in a tub. No bag. Put the lid on to colonize and flip it over to introduce fruiting conditions.
