ph for verm casing?
    #2423186 - 03/12/04 11:33 AM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Could be a prob for me to get lime etc (it's available I'm sure, but I can't read the labels)

If straight verm is used does the ph need to be adjusted for the casing? (read the FAQ, but nothing mentioned there)

Thanks again everyone...

I use a hand full of crushed oyster shell
to every half bucket of verm/compost.

You can get this in places that sell chicken supplies.

Vermiculite is neutral, coir is mostly a bit on the acidic side.
