Psilocybe Cyanescens | Attempt Log

General information: Psilocybe Cyanescens | Germination: 7 - 12°C, 2 weeks | Colonization: 20 - 24°C, 2 weeks | Fruiting: 7 - 16°C
I was given a Psilocybe Cyanescens spore print and tasked to germinate it, using a simple method and SAB. My first attempt on tea bags failed, however "live" growth did better than that of two oysters.
My second attempt worked, after 9 days at 12°C, recipe in my pocket guide.

Apparently cyan's are as good as oyster's at producing carbohydrates from carbon sources. I put my spores in pH 8.8 calcium bicarbonate water (Ca(HCO3)2 + H2O).
They ignored the pH, utilized the sources and germinated.

They are being stored at 12°C in a fridge, which helps activation.

Thanks enlightenment.
That parts over, I will be doing my normal open air safe methods, since it seems no different. My only issue, being a hobbyist, is cold temperatures, so fruiting closer to winter.
Conditions suited to King oyster should work well for Cyanescens.

That's true, however I have fruited many wood loving gourmet types. Psilocybe Cyanescens are wood loving, so I am applying data.

No problem mushboy, I can seem jumpy when I talk here. Normally I am located in the Gourmet section. Also to point out I do not endorse any brands, I simply require the nutrient setup-methods.
So take any guides or recipe's as "list" or "informative", not branding.

My true angle is to increase yield and or colour-richness without adding starch or sugar products. Then add additional settings that help prevent contamination, essentially "open air safe".
Bear with me and I'll share what I find, and any outcomes. << Hobbyist.

I see, In that case just pretend I am using starch free grain flour that is 100% soluble and a mixture. Since adding bran or even grain flour to wood or paper increases yield and other factors.
I class that as nutrient enrichment, or supplementation if you like. The base body products I am using are weak, so I enrich.
