Are you omniscient then? How would you know it takes a decent amount to feel the effects if you weren't eating them?
If you are omniscient I think that is super cool btw

And the one occasion I did eat them probably 10 or so years ago I was in my teens with a partner that"knew",his stuff or so he thought. But since the experience I had no desire to try them. I enjoy going hunting and those were what I had come across yesterday. Through experience I only consume cubes because I feel comfortable identifying them. Look for weili but still never feel comfortable enough to try them. And seriously besides anglerfish y'all need to chill

Lots of Lacrymaria fruiting now. Definitely will be checking some of these spots a bit later in the season. Was really hoping to find morels on that hike, but I'll sure as hell take Lacrymaria.

Do you eat Lacrymaria? I hear it's not that flavorful, but I guess if you added some seasoning to them they wouldn't be bad, might be OK to beef up some fancy ramen noodles with.

Yeah I found about 50 lacrymaria yesterday in two different yards.

So these look just like weilii until you get close and see the texture and veil?

Nope, just meant good as a caerulescens indicator. But yeah, I've also heard they are edible if you are desperate/curious. lol
Nice cham. They can resemble weilli at first glance (certain phenotypes anyway).

Resemble!? They look A LOT a like. My first weilii hunt I took like 3 lb of lacramarya and only 6-7 weiliii caps which only looked a LITTLE different back then. So yeah they can REALLY look alot alike!

They share similar habitats, and growth characteristics.
Always wise to check out a large grouping of mushrooms of proper stature if you're in caers habitat. Always wise to check out any mushrooms really, you know just for fun.

I didn't mean to put the questin mark. But I've found so many lacrymaria in the past three days I could fill two garbage bags

Well, check those spots around the end of May/beginning of June, probably find some actives. With hunting as diligently as you have been, you will find something soon enough.
