Removing casing from container for more surface area....?

When casing pull from sides and knots are forming on the sides why not pull it out of the container and put it flat in your fruiting chamber? anyone try this? wouldnt it yield more as alot mroe surface area would fruitng?

i liked that mushy =) so i used it heh

i did straighten it out and what not, but it looked best being about normal i thought
