Can't find Karo

Went to the supermarket and asked for Corn Syrup, they gave me a jar of "Glucose Syrup - derived from Corn, Gluten Free" will this stuff work, or do I keep looking?
I live in Brisbane, Australia.

ingredients on the jar of karo which cujo uses are as follows:
Light Corn Syrup
Water
High Fructose Corn Syrup
Salt
Vanilla
------------------------
The Front of the bottle simply reads "Light Corn Syrup"
so i assume that is it's main consituient.
I hope this helps.

Spores germinated just fine on regular table sugar once for a friend of mine. Ended up not using the liquid culture, though. :/

it takes VERY little spores to make liquid innoc so unless you have 1cc of solution or only two spores i think its okay.  as for the time thing youre wasting it now...  :wink:

Nevermind guys, I found this at a dodgy little grocery store. None of the major supermarkets seem to stock it!



I was a bit concerned about the vanilla part, but thanks to musesicksic's post it's all good!

cost NINE DOLLARS though!!
