But what I am saying is that most of what I and most other good electronic musicans do is a combonation of both.

(And also that everyone that is a recording artist is doing a combonation of both.)

Basicly all the old keyboards are being redone as software. So some sounds do come from computers.

MIDI's not all bad. I use MIDI to turn my Wavestation in to a Stenway piano. (through a sample bassed VST plugin) I would never be able to get my hands on a piano that sounds that nice, but someone has recorded all the sounds for me already, so MIDI's not all bad.

It's just a tool. Generial MIDI sounds suck though.

Kind of on point kind of not. All of your favourite soloists Are masters of playing micro tonally. I guarantee it. Piano players to a less extent for sure. However there is so much space in between the divisions. I know this isn't news but when you hear someone own the in between it is quite special.  Say Jeff Beck on guitar, or Pharoah Sanders on Sax.

We'd all be better off to train our ears instead of our minds with music.
