I did 3 shoeboxes with upside down lid, 1 quart each to a bulk substrate, cased with jiffy/sand...I'm getting some killer flushes but they are slow growing and havent gotten to the point of opening the caps yet. I'm really hoping for some printable caps!

Good luck brotha!!!:jah:

You've got it. Now you've seen them and know their nature. They print well IME, it's just about not letting them dry.

How do you print them different from cubensis?

I personally get a small print container I can fit in my SAB and mist the inside of it before I place my foil and cap in there.

To humidify it and keep the cap from drying out. Otherwise it will dry out 9 times out of 10. Some people prefer to sterilize a syringe of water and put a single drop on each cap when you print it.

I've done both and it worked out good. But I prefer to mist my chamber just because it's quicker lol. Mist lightly so water doesn't bead up too much and drop on your foil.

Thanks for the advice, ill definitely do that this time. I noticed they really dried up on my with just a paper towel over top of them. Makes sense since they were so tiny. Maybe they grew slow too because lack of high humidity? well see in a few weeks

3/23/17- tampanensis jars were soaked in cold water for 15 min then poured into tray. The grains were then cased very thinly with a pasteurized 50/50 jiffy mix. Then placed in a SGFC with about 4 inches of perlite just to clarify for any nubes lol

Higher humidity should cause this to pin quicker than my monotub which took 7 days. We shall see very soon. Hopefully ill get prints too  :brainscream:

3/29/17- 6 days later, i can see the pins coming through the casing. This is about the same with my pinset times from my monotub. Will update with pics when more pronounced.
