Shoveling snow for money?

Haven't been able to do that since I was a kid. Everybody wants to hire a 'professional' with tractors and blowers or a truck with a plow.

I did that when I was in middle school if it's going driveway to driveway shoveling snow for money. I'd make a solid 2 to 300 per large snow storm for a few years. Go out there when it was fresh and light, and being a kid helped tremendously as people were more willing to throw money at you. I doubt I'd get away with it today, I probably wouldn't pay someone to shovel my driveway at all unless they were a kid at least. This was how I'd make a lot of money for the year, and how I bought my first TV, first computer, game systems, etc.

I had a friend who went door to door after a massive storm and offered to clean up the broken sticks and stuff in people's yards for $5. What they didn't know was that there was a city truck doing exactly that for free just 4 blocks behind him. He was essentially collecting the money and leaving the city to it. :lol:

When I was doing the ski bum thing I would shovel snow off of rooftops quite a bit,even was on call for a school district up in Montana ,big winters up there
