camcorders are great
    #2417071 - 03/11/04 12:09 AM (14 years, 1 month ago)

today i've been going through all my video tapes that i've been recording for the last 5 - 6 years.

back then during high school around 96 -97 i used my cousins vhs recorder that you put upon your shoulders, you know those huge recorders. then in like 98 - 99 my dad bought me a sony hi 8 camera.

i just realized that i've recorded a quarter of my life from the beginning of high school. then graduating. onto experience life after high school. i would have recordings of just friends gatherings and lots of funny funny clips. more recordings of drinking, smoking, shrooming. traveling to hawaii and san francisco. also have clips of camping and gifts exchanges every year with my friends.

anyways i just didn't realize that i've done all of this and it seemed that life just passes by so quickly. im 21 now. im sooo glad that i was able to capture some of these moments on tape. rather than having just pictures.

someday ill be able to show my kids what i went through. maybe!anyways just sharing what i've been thinking tonight.

thanks for listening.

peace and blessings,
djsoy

That sounds really awesome . Wish I would have done the same thing.
