- So you good at fixing shit up? Enlist! We have a shit ton of things you can fix. Tanks, boats, engines, airplanes, guns, artillery, drones, computers and whatever the fuck else can break. After serving you can continue in the world of fixing shit up

The good news is that Trump's budget will mean that my financial situation will get even better. This means that more people around the world will be able to enjoy access to toilets.
Other than that, it's a disaster, to quote Trump.
I can't imagine it'll pass as proposed.

It's not going to the poor, though. The bottom line here is that the budget will only serve to hasten the growth of income inequality in America.

When the fuck does the poor ever get anything?
Trump wants to eliminate tax for people making 15k or less. It makes sense. In canada nbody pays taxes if you make under 18k or something.

Well I believe the poor are taxed 10%?
Thats 10% more cash in their pockets. Which is like 1200$ a year or something. That's 2 months rent for many people.

You're misinformed. Most people who make less than $15,000 pay no federal income tax at all. Those that do pay far less than 10% effective tax rate.

Yes there are positive qualities to the military. the question is whether it is more beneficial to spend those dollars elsewhere. Obviously there is some minimum level of military spending necessary, but as Q pointed out, public infrastructure projects provide much more benefit to the public over the long term when compared to virtually any military project. Public infrastructure projects are capable of employing at least as many people, which in turn drives demand for more trained workers. Instead of focusing the benefits of increased spending in a few small places like the San Diego shipyards, infrastructure spending spreads the jobs, and the benefits around to everyone.

That chart is applied to taxable income, not gross income. In the U.S., our tax code is unbelievably complicated. A person with a gross income of $15000 will almost certainly have a taxable income well below 7,000. With credits, etc, most will not pay a dime.
In fact, 45% of the people in the U.S. don't pay a dime of federal income tax.

When you make 15000, the standard deduction actually means that you get a refund from the government. Instead of paying income tax, you gave an interest free loan to the gov. If you qualify for any credits like the earned income tax credit, you'll actually get back more than you paid in.
you still pay payroll taxes.

I think the personal deduction is around $12000, so someone with $15000 in wages at the most has a taxable income of $3000

There you have it folks, this budget is fiscal austerity for the US population while lining the pockets for the very wealthy shareholder class.
Trump supporters, get ready to bend over and grab the lube because it's going to be a brutal fiscal rape.

That's the thing I don't get.
They have people collecting 10% tax. Then they have another branch to create credits, and more staff to for the deduction and then more for the programs and whatnot.... Why can't they just add it all up and charge5% instead and eliminate all those credits and shit...

Just calling it the way I see it. Most Obama supporters took 6-7 years of making excuses before they called out his bullshit, I have less tolerance.
