Air Tubing Question - Problem Solved, Pics, Look okay?

Without drilling a hole in the glass... No tools to do that with, no money to buy them. How can my friend safely run the air tubing into the aquarium/fruiting chamber without leaving a gaping hole in the lid, or causing too much trouble for fanning to be done easily... The lid is a wooden frame bigger than the aquarium with plastic sheeting thumb tacked to it. Can he run the tubes under the lid without worrying about contams coming in the small opening?? Can someone please answer? Edit: Added pics below

I would think it would be ok to have it running under the lid. But maybe you can put a piece of cut styrofoam or something to fit in the place where there is a small opening? hope my input helps!

Thats a good Idea... thank you, He says he has tons of styrofoam all over the place... he could cut a small sliver of it big enough to cover the gap and like tape it in place or something...
You are awesome, I love you. Seriously, you are the best. 5 shrooms to you!

yeah, or drill a hole through the wood top. then just seal around the hole with silicone caulk...

The wood overhangs too much to do that, the frame extends like 3 inches on each side to weigh down the lid and pull the plastic sheeting taut around the aquarium....
Thanks tho :0) Have some shroomies for the suggestion anyway I'm in a giving mood tonight

Heres what the terrarium looks like right now... gonna try without adding the styrofoam for now to see how well it holds the humidity and everything then if needed hes going to put some around the top edge to form a better seal, but only if necessary. Some pics:
