I think both of them suck for the super poor and middle class, and both of them were great for the super rich.
The difference is that Obama left disastrous trickle down economics policies alone, while Trump wants to give even more breaks to the super rich than they get today.

Just like his business career, Trump isn't good for anyone who isn't named Trump.

Hiking the minimum wage very slowly in the US has NOT increased unemployment, that's because the minimum wage increases have been below the inflation and economic growth rates.
That's an excellent point actually. Not only have minimum wage increases not kept up with inflation and economic growth, they are WAY, WAY, behind. By your own logic, we should be able to raise minimum wage up to the 1968 level (~11/hr adjusted for inflation), plus the growth per capita since then, which has more than doubled:

So we should be fighting for a $22/hr minimum wage. Are you finally with me finally, or are you going to change your mind now?
If you remember, I have never been against a higher minimum wage, where me and you differ is based on the success or non-success of the mandate.
We know large corporations would have no issue with the higher mandated wages, the problem occurs in the medium and small businesses that often struggle and can't afford the higher labor costs.
So it begs the question, why can't medium and small businesses afford to pay more like they did in the past? I would say more global competition and an environment which favors the people at the top which makes it more much difficult for small businesses.

Where's your evidence that medium and small businesses can't afford to pay more if everyone else has to? I've presented evidence that unemployment is virtually unimpacted by raising the minimum wage.

I dont understand it either. Why would consumers having more money be bad for small business?
We have $10k of credit card debt per person in this country because we'll buy shit with money we don't even have. Imagine how much we'd consume if we actually had money to spend.

I'll ask him to put it in his own words and get back to you with what he says
I can't wait! Qman vs Webster!!! One says illegals are good for big business, the other says not so much.

Yeah I kind of spent the last few days of my spring break enjoying my time with my dad and not having him type out a response about illegal immigrants for some dude on the internet. I'll ask him today and let you know.
