Anyone pick up EA Pit People from steam? I've loved Behemoth's last two games, especially castle crashers, played that for hours on end with friends. Pit People looks interesting, I've just been totally side tracked by Stardew Valley.

Feel like that could be said about a lot of indie games though. And really a lot of them do later become apps. I just dont think there's really a replacement for a mouse and keyboard unless the game mechanics are super simple
You guys are familiar with behemoth though right? I feel like Castle Crashers and Alien Homind were arguably some of the best selling indie games on Steam. So far this game has gotten nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews. Guess I'm just surprised it hasnt gotten more attention, but that depends on what kind of games your into

Sometimes I question if I'm even a gamer anymore due to the amount of steam games I've never played.

Nah I feel that, I forget sometimes that there are different kinds of gamers
I'm personally really into indie games, simulators, stuff that makes me feel nostalgic. I grew up playing almost exclusively Nintendo games.
I've basically never played Halo, COD, or Gears of War, which is what I remember everyone playing in high school. I literally spent all of high school playing smash brothers, mario kart, zelda, etc.
I just discovered the Gaming Grotto, but I'd totally be down to find a game to play with ya guys

Yeah I never got to play any of the portal games. I think they offered it free one day and I completely missed it. I also never played any of the fallouts.
Halo is a great game, the replay value between 1 and 2 are extremely high. Cod is the same game every time. The only purpose is to play multiplayer with headsets to talk shit. IMO.

parts of this look cool but it would have to have some serious gameplay to make up for all the games it mimics and i am not a fan of the cartoon network style graphics... feels like advanced war that i played on a gameboy advance 12+ years ago.
between xcom, age of wonders, ect ect ect i think i can skip this one, arena style strategy games feel one dimensional to me, like total war warhammer vs loading a team up and fighting a single battle, the length and depth of the game are what gives it depth, without the length i don't understand the consequence of the choices.
