Not worried about the white hairs for all my knowledge, just worried about the grey near the middle

Are those hairs considered Rizo growth? The spawn used wasn't rhizomorphic, didn't know if it can go from non rizo to rizo growth. Any and every input is appreciated

Should I be fanning during this stage or letting it sit? I've a tin foil top to it and have been letting it sit without fanning

Ok cool so only when it's fully colonized and cased is when I need to fan?

you never need to fan
fanning is pointless. your chamber either gets FAE or it's built poorly.
most well designed tubs get passive FAE 24/7 by virtue of their design

if you have to fan your FC it's built wrong. if you have to fan you have to fan more than a few times an hour, because fanning is not a replacement for FAE until it's done several times an hour. fanning three times a day would be gas exchange, if you're tubs are only getting gas exchange you're going to have a bad time. tubs need FAE.

fanning something that gets FAE already is like trying to roll down a window on a motorcycle

Really appreciate that, I've a sgfc with about 100 holes in every side 600 total it's in a closet and the only moving air comes from my heater and my daily Misting for RH. Kinda off topic but any tips to keep RH up? I've to mist a 3-4 times a day and it rarely makes it above 90% usually sits around 70%. I've a lightbulb running 24/7 to keep temps up as well should I just take that out? For the sake of humidity.

Get that SGFC out of the closet R Kelly. And ditch that hygrometer while you're at it.

Lol the paper towel method xD. So scientific..

OP.. it's actually impossible to measure relative humidity without first knowing your dew point, because relative humidity is directly related to it. Dew point can be changed with many things like temperature, and isn't necessarily always going to be at the exact spot it should theoretically be when compared to temperature.

Our chambers will have a much different dew point than the outside. Technically if you want to measure humidity, measure the dew point of the chamber first. But since it should be constantly fluctuating, it'll be basically impossible to get an accurate measurement. No hygrometer will accurately read rh like I'd want, besides there's really no need for one anyway.

ill prob just buy a humidifier that should provide fae and RH. Kinda gotta work in the closet for now though, we all start somewhere. I'd love to have a Martha set up though... only in my distant dreams. Really appreciate the knowledge

I wouldn't do that man. Pumping humidity into a small enclosed space like a closet is asking for trouble. Can you at least leave the closet open?

I mean kinda, I live in a cold environment so it's pretty easy for the temps to drop fast I have the temps in a "sweet spot" now I open it up atleast 3 times a day to mist i could just fan then. What I have now works for until it's time to fruit it's just the humidity is too low for fruiting conditions that's my main concern humidity and flowing air I can keep both up by myself just leaves a lot of room for error would prefer a more automated system. Wouldn't run the humidifier all the time just  on a timer of about 5-10 minutes don't think that'd be overkill done a bit of research on here and thinking about going with the Vicks v-400 cool mist and impeller.... would kill for a Martha

Here is a pretty decent pic of cobweb mold. This is a jar of leftover substrate I let sit out for a couple days just to see what would happen.....

It looks literally nothing like it xD. Your tub looks fine to me. Tho the intense strands and thin growth has me thinking this substrate is too wet
