T.M. Scanlon

Has anyone here ever read anything by T.M. Scanlon? I've been reading things by him recently and I can't get past the feeling that a lot of his thinking comes from the sort of thinking one does on psychedelics? I was just wondering if by chance anyone has read anything by him and thought a similar thing.

No, I haven't even heard of him.

I really wouldn't know anything about that.

Now that I think about it, his works probably were not influenced by psychedelics. Most likely, he just had some insight that he expounded and it was similiar to something you had thought of in an altered state.

But I could be wrong.

Thanks for the effort but that wasn't exactly the response I was hoping for. And I am not really basing this on some idea of his, its his writing and entire approach to different philosophical problems. its hard to explain/pinpoint why.

but yeah, obviously its possible that they were not influenced by psychedelics, thats why i was wondering if anyone by chance had experienced the same thing.
