First go at oysters, just wanted to share and also a little question, i was wondering if the stemmyness is normal for oyster pins or are they not getting enough O2? They're pearl oysters if it really matters?
Here they are 2.28)

Increased airflow does almost nothing for them if it is not providing Fresh Air Exchange- they breathe oxeygen and let out CO2- elongated stems come from them searching for oxygen (fresh air) and out away from the highly concentrated CO2 that surrounds them. Sure air circulation without being fresh may help with evaporation some (which is a pinning trigger), but even them if you are just recirculating super humid air you'll get less evaporation.

Could not agree more, the surrounding air should be considered in a similar way to a substrate. Mock example: For every 100 units of air you need 80 units of water, 10 units of O2.
Lets say you have 90 units of water, 8 units of CO2, that leaves 2 units.

I hate it when reihis climb up the side of the bag when fruited invitro. So i welded a big humidity tent from two unicorn bags. it seems to like it.

At an educated guess, I would say a fruiting fungus may use O2 in caps to oxidize materials. Probably to produce nutrients and-or environment required for spore formation.

I have that same fucking problem. they start pinning on the side of the bag and the antlers/conks look terrible.
