It almost looks like it fell over then the filter was under the level of water and sucked in a bunch during cool down

hahaha. thats hilarious. Yeah, i sprinkled some brown sugar on top...bod has the tek for early morning munchies. ......but in seriousness, yeah its premium whole oats from my local feed store. 50lb bag for 10$. Im assuming it was water from the pressure cooker during PC. this has happened to me before with PF tek also, not sure what I do wrong...I wrap the whole jar in aluminum foil, maybe I should just wrap the lid?

Yes just the lid. If the foil goes down to the water you made a straw. And it will suck up water instead of air
Problem solved

Good to know, however my pressure cooker is tiny so I have to lay the jar on its side in order to fit. As long as I make sure the jar isnt sitting in water I should be good I guess?

Yes so long as the filter has a way to suck in air rather than water during cool down.

The bag doesn't really have a description as to whole, rolled or hulled and the guy working the counter was pretty young, not sure he knew what he was talking about. I just asked what kinds of oats they all sell and if I could look at them but before I got a good look around he had grabbed it and loaded it up for me. Then again I probably don't look like a guy who owns horses...

So the oats in my jars after I took them out of the pressure cooker are moist on the inside? I put A piece of cotton in it to? Is that how it's supposed to be? I put a cotton into the hole that I made then put foil on top..
