Trump has trolled the MSM for almost 2 years now, it's like a game for him.
It's not a game. He cannot stand criticism, and his attitude towards the press is repugnant. He's the last person who should be subject to the daily scrutiny that a president receives. It is mentally destabilizing for him.
Unfortunately, the MSM deserves much of the criticism from Trump and others, they put themselves in that position.
The American public also has little faith in the MSM today, so Trump has plenty of support.
That is the trumpist spin. The reality is CNN, MSNNC, FOX have their highest ratings in years. The New York Times has been getting ten times the number of subscriptions compared to the same quarter last year.
http://theamericanfirst.com/cnn-ratings-drop-like-a-rock-even-hgtv-beat-cnn-in-2016/
Yet, those rating are still down (CNN and MSNBC).

Ratings for CNN, and the other cable news networks, are soaring. CNN’s ratings are up 51% compared to this time last year among adults 25 to 54 years old. Fox News is up over 50%. MSNBC is up more than 30%. Cable news ratings normally fall precipitously after a presidential election.
Indeed, CNN had its most profitable year in 2016 and is on pace to do even better in 2017. Zucker said that CNN hopes to earn $1 billion in profit this year. Stock in CNN’s parent company Time Warner continues to perform strongly too, gaining 21% in value since last October

Quote:
The New York Times (NYT) beat analyst expectations in both quarterly revenue and profit, propelled by record breaking digital subscriptions.
Here are some key takeaways and implications from The New York Times’ Q4 earnings report:
- The NYT added the most digital news subscriptions in five years. In Q4, the Times added 276,000 net digital news customers, which marks the most digital subscription additions in a single quarter since the company launched its pay wall in 2011, according to NYT CEO Mark Thompson. Overall, digital subscribers increased 46% YoY in Q4 to 1.85 million.
- This was largely fueled by coverage of the election. The company saw an increase of 41,000 paid subscriptions for both print and digital in the week that followed the presidential election on November 8.
- Digital advertising revenue also impressed. The NYT digital ad revenue jumped 10.9% in Q4 to $77.6 million, and 6% for the full year 2016 to $208.8 million. The Times cited smartphones, branded content, and programmatic advertising as major digital ad growth areas in the quarter. Digital advertising now accounts for 41.9% of the company’s total advertising revenue, up from 34.1% in Q4 2015

Well I'm going to have to disagree with you. Aristotles political theories are sound he is absolutely right that democracy is mob rule. A pure democracy is idiotic and will ultimately crumble. The ideal stable government is a monarchy.

I could say the same. A pure monarchy is idiotic and will ultimately crumble. Nearly every single one has at some point afterall.
I have nothing against Aristotle, I don't think monarchies are right for the time we live in.

If we examine history monarchies always last longer than democratic states. A monarchy is ideal because a family is literally born to rule and trained from birth. In a democracy you get Donald Trump a disaster for the government because we allow any fool to vote.

Lasting longer =\= better for the people that live under them. You seem to be under the notion that there have been no bad monarchs that were disasterous for the governmnet they ruled? Even the idea that there were simply fewer is off base. The reality is that if you get a bad king or queen, instead of getting rid of them outright by electing them out, impeaching them or limiting their powers - you need to wage a rebellion to take them down - and they are the ones with all the weapons stockpiles.

JESUS. FUCKING. CHRIST.
i already said this wasn't important.
you know what i said when i FIRST SAW this "news".
i'll quote it:
"this is barely relevant. Trump hates the news media...wah wah, same thing everyday. we all know. Trump hates the media, has for decades."
so if you're trying to preach that shit to me, please save it, or at least acknowledge that 10 hours ago, i said the same thing, that this isn't news; in so many words.
stop talking to me like we're not on the same page. it's disingenuous.
