Post a loph picture in the contam section? Dont reckon itll be well received there. It does look like a mushroom not too bothered what type it is just was after an ID incase its something else thats common dunno what like. First loph ive ever grown so its all new to me. It weird its not the climate id expect mushrooms to grow in. Kept under two 300w cfls and not very moist. Maybe theres a fungi that likes to grow off lophs like how a fly agaric only grows off tree roots or whatever they do cant remember exactly.

I was saying that because it is still a "contam" Doesn't matter if its contaminating mushrooms or cacti. Someone there would probably be able to ID it too.
I wouldn't expect a mushroom to grow there either. It'd be interesting to figure out what kind it is.
Are you going to let it mature?

Your lophophora soil should not facilitate life for a mushroom, I'm my opinion this tells me that your soil is too organic and it's receiving too much water/not drying out fast enough

I took it out of the pot it came in and put it straight in a pot of coir/perlite mix. The mushrooms are only in the bit that came in the pot, not my substrate just what it was originally grown in by the grower I bought it off. I prolly am keeping it too damp though it lives in my grow tent so dries oit real quick so I water more than I should.

You generally want to do a good job of cleaning that soil off the roots when you get it, even if it tears the roots and stuff You just leave it in open air for over a week and it'll be ready to be potted into fresh soil Coir isn't a good cactus substrate, it's a fine additivite for water retention in very dry climates but it has no nutrients I would recommend using at least 50% rocks smaller than 1/4", 25% perlite, and the rest organics in the form of worm castings and potting soil

I treated it like a plant just wanted out the shitty little pot it came in. Didnt know you could do that ill sort it out when I get a minute. Any particular rock I should get? Or just smashed up rock from outside or specific types from a garden centre?

^This is why, one of the first cacti I got I didn't know to clean all that organic crap from the roots and got mushrooms.

That looks like moss growing under it. That and the mushroom are both signals you have way too much organic content, too little light, and too much water/humidity.
