Go into your gallery and copy the code from under the pic, then paste the code here.

It doesnt even look fully colonized to me. Take a pic with the lid off.

Hey, PussyFart, quick question.  Are those B+ in the pic on the left hand side of your signature?

if its not fully colonized can i put it back into incubation. i am overwhelmed. i had it colonizing for about 2 weeks and after a couple days of no growth i figured it was time.

Well you want all of the substrate to be consumed by the white mycellium. If it's not then you can put the lids back on the containers and let them finish colonizing, but do not apply any kind of heat, room temp is fine. Incubation should not be needed unless you live in alaska.

Secondly I am not sure what kind of silly contraption of a fruiting chamber you are using, but its a ghetto combination of what looks like a monotub and a SGFC.

If there is perlite there should be 1/4(6mm) holes every 2 inches in a grid pattern on all 6 sides.

If the entire bottom surface is taken up by substrate then you do a monotub with 6 holes( 2 on each long side at substrate level and 1 on each short side centered at the top).

You should build a SGFC. http://www.mushroomvideos.com/Terrarium-Tek

if you stay ontop of surface moisture you can do trays and cakes in a mono without perlite.

lol yes i know it is ghetto. this is the tub i build right when i went out and bought everything. didnt really even look into it. then i started reading a bunch and realized the way you drill your holes matters alot. i just built a sgfc. 1/4 inch holes 2 inches apart. on all sides top and bottom. i built my mono tubs with six holes but only on the long sides. 2 right above sub and 1 in the top middle. will that be ok?

I would just tape up the top holes and put them on the short sides. Problem solved.

Maybe keep one of them like that just to see how it performs, but I would keep it simple and just follow methods that are tried and true while still being a newbie.

I've seen a lot of threads saying once you've removed the lid and expose your sub to light and fresh air you may as well just fruit it. Others have said light is good at all stages and removing the stale air is a good thing. I've read both having success, which route are you going?
