Also today i harvested some shrooms with "cracking" caps..like the caps had split and you could see the white insides. Anyone seen this?

I've seen the cracking caps a few times. Personally I think its from the humidity not staying constant during the fruiting process.
I only think this because the times I've seen it my humidifier ran out of water and went a good 1/2 day to full day without coming on the humidity dropped real low.

BTW, you mentioned your cams were thick. That is kind of surprising to me. All the times I've seen them the stems were thin in comparison to other strains, although the caps were larger compared to the stem size.

But, I've seen some pics mjshroomer posted grown out on compost and they were very thick and large. I grew mine out on birdseed, and once on a small patch of compost.

What substrate did you use Primate?

I used pf substrate. When i say think stems i mean more meaty..not necassarily larger in exterior size...they seem to be less hollow then other strains i have grown...some stems are about average..but most are narrower then your common cubie..but they seem to be a larger percent mushroom material.

Ryche How have your overall yield amount from this strain compared to others?
