how did you trace your problem down to using just one layer of SFD?

I didn't, I just didn't like the look of it having wet SFD sitting in the open air. It probably wasn't causing a problem.

If you have any knowledge, help please.
if it doesn't thread in it's probably not matching threads
I cant get the old one out to try. I was curious if there is some sort of alchemy ritual one performs before attempting to unscrew the old one.
I dont know. Thanks for the input anyways.

Buddy, just search an Antiquariat and sell it. I think it will bring some bucks - for this money you could buy at least a nice AA
Of course this old stuff is great but why using 100yrs old technique if you can have the newest shit!

those national brand pressure sterilizers are great for doing agar runs. it heats up like 10x faster than a full size pc. i can get mine up to 15 psi in like 5 minutes. no need to sell it, like you mentioned it still works great and will for many more years. got mine on craigslist for $10.

when PCing a oven bag do you need a vent hole in the bag? i usually tie the bag in a knott. and poke a hole in the bag and cover with a few layers of mp tape.

I got mine off FP. Yea I don't really order much either, I do get SFD's, cases of plates when I can afford em and I usually keep a case of spawn bags. When I place an order for that stuff I grab toys like this when I have extra $ haha

A few random questions, mostly related to edibles. There's not really a thread like this in Gourmet so I'm tossing it here.
1. Do all oyster species posses the ultra high spore load as regular oysters? I know King's don't, but what about the rest? Going to try some Blue Oyster in buckets soon and I think it's too cold RN to fruit outdoors.
2. I'll be pasteurizing my straw in a water bath with hydrated lime. Is the leftover water from the bath safe to dump down the drain or no? What's the proper way to dispose of this water (I don't have a garden, only a crummy lawn from the place I rent).
3. I've seen people suggest lining buckets with bags while it colonizes. RR puts his laundry basket in a shotgun-style colonization chamber. Others don't seem to do either. Either method above the other for straw buckets?
Thanks.

What? I fucking love ape. I consider it the golden standard of cubes (disregarding yield that is). Not to say you can't get a good yield.

APE is awesome. I'm going to make some more transfers tonight and hope my culture is still viable. APE is insanely potent and people who hate the taste of mushrooms prefer it due to less volume. Mix small cube fruits, a few APE and PE blobs into powder and you have insanely potent chocolates.
