What should I expect? Similar to cubensis myc? Smell of fresh shrooms?

No. It has a very strange smell. Its very unique. Like soapy almonds. It's a nutty smell. Hard to describe

I think it smells "fresher" than cubensis myc. To my nose it has a cucumber or melon rind smell, which I believe is called "Farinaceous" when used to describe mushrooms.
HERE is some more info on this

That is a good source, thank you.
I'm actually trying to find out if what's in this jar is galindoii or not:

but it's really hard do get a good picture as the jar itself is very blurry.
What's inside is a bit of coir&verm mixed with what hopefully is Ps. Galindoii myc

Are you seeing any stone development? Galindoi are known to be prolific and large stone producers. The presence of stones would be a pretty solid indicator.

The mycelium should show some yellow/brown discoloration on some spots before stones start to show.

The jars I've took these grains from had some stones (I knocked up some small grain jars as I couldn't get the syringe to start on agar, then transferred some grains to agar plates and made these with the rest of them), but their surface also had this extra-fluffy looking growth and I just can't be sure if there was only galindoii myc in there and what I have on agar is galindoii myc.
Here is the thread if you want to take a look at the plates

You used colonized grain of a galindoi jar to inoculate agar. Why can't you be sure that it is galindoi mycelium? Mislabeled the plates? Or are you worried about growing mold? It's not mold but your plates grow a little more rhizomorphic than any of my galindoi dishes.
Keep an eye on the substrate you should see some discoloration soon if it's galindoi.

I can't be sure if there was only galindoii myc in that jar and if I took the right myc because the surface looked so puffy. Guess there's only one way to find out...
