diggin the art design in that pic. where did you get it? :begger:

at first i was kinda disappointed because these grew on the short side but the pinset was so fucking dense.

it pulled 333.7g wet from 1 mycoquart wbs to equal parts cvg.

i should of taken a pic:facepalm: but some of the denser areas had shrooms growing like a vine. all wrapped
around other shrooms. fakk it. got more maz trays coming anyway.:mushroom2:

AA+ on the short side compared to what ive seen but most of my shoebox grows seem to be that way.
besides the 'thicker sub makes taller shrooms' theory any other tips? maybe bottom water and
make a plug-able drainage hole using spare SHiPs?? still sexy shrooms tho.

ill pick em later.

Mexican cube put out some thick n meaty clone candidates.

will also pick these later.

You don't need to mod your tub to bottom water. Just pour a half cup in there at a time and keep an eye on how much is being used.
A heavy pinset will use it up fairly quick.

I like bottom watering mini monos. If you do it right you may find that you dont even need to rehydrate your sub much after a flush.
Maybe a light misting on the surface and just let it go naturally onto the second flush.

cool.

never really thought about the mechanics of bottom watering. just like with a cake right?
just pour some in the corner, maybe where its pulled away a bit? or just pour right on top??

I use a liner so it's a bitch sometimes to water. But for your tubs it should be no issue pouring down the sides of the sub.

Just pour a bit of water along the perimeter of your sub easy peasy

I've tried pouring on the sub surface and I'm not a fan at all.
Shrooms get very wet and waterlogged and may cause early veils. But that's just a hunch

I estimate n nature substrates are not super flat and level. The probably drain well. We pour water on top it stays there a lot longer and I have the same experience of it kind of fucking fruits. Definitely pour down the sides

I used to use a turkey baster to bottom water

Works well

I now have this sprayer that shoots a nice stream of water super handy cost like 5 bucks

Finally finished my hood!!

I had to build an extension on my table because it was a little too big
2'x2' and 18" deep. Would have liked to do 12" deep but I used an old furnace blower and its
opening was a little too big

Blower dialed down by closing off one side and using a variable speed controller from
harbor freight for 20 bucks

Time to get rollin on some serious edible production:rockon:

Wow you've got a mushroom forest without needing the art! I found the print (Another Time by Eugene Baker) second hand at a boot fair. They were mass produced in the 70s. They seem to come up on Ebay, Etsy etc now and again. Really beautiful.
