You know I almost put that song up today! But Judith Durham edged it out.

Great choice Brian  brutal is a fitting description, it's very difficult to listen to, but should be required listening in schools.

Eric Bogle wrote it after watching an Anzac Day march in 1971. I only know that as I was listening to him talk about that song earlier today

Probably the most mind blowing thing I've ever experienced apart from psychedelics was a Pink Floyd concert. The shit they could do with that big round screen, wow.

North Korea plays Rage Against the Machine

I never got to see Pink Floyd live, but I absolutely fuckin love them, of course! One of the greatest bands of all time. They still play them back to back on the radio.

I've lost a lot of respect for Roger Waters, though.

Why?  I've gained a lot of respect for him lately, as he understands the situation around the globe better than most.

Ya, that was a really cool video.  Thanks SirTripAlot!

They didn't show too much of that chick that played the guitar, as perhaps in North Korea they try to spread the attention on everyone.

Politics aside... The first thing he did that really bothered me was saying that Comfortably Numb isn't about heroin. It's just a flat out lie, and I don't know why he would lie about something like that. There is no other interpretation of that song. It's fucking stupid. There have been other instances of him acting like a pompous fuck, I don't remember them off the top of my head.

Let's just say I'm much more of a David Gilmore fan, than a Roger Waters fan, and that didn't used to be the case.

Waters has always been dope.

The Wall is still a masterpiece.

Some people say it is fake, based on this performance:

Who knows, its North Korea, not the most transparent place on earth. Still memorable nevertheless.

Yeah, that was the first giveaway. Tom Morello's guitar part is played a lot lower than where they showed her playing, even though she is playing that tiny snippet up high around first position D minor/2nd position D major and the song is in D... If it was real they would have definitely showed her digging in between frets 2-5 on the low strings pulling a serious guitar face

Doesn't matter though, it's going on the playlist, love it.
