Just watched this doco about Bob Marley... far out.

I'd forgotten that he was shot during the ongoing political violence in Kingston. Well worth watching.

The Beatles "Revolution"

Protest peacefully folks. Your brother is not your enemy nor are the monsters they want you to believe they are. Do not be a pawn. Polarization of the people is the lifeforce that feeds the globalists. A united people scare the holy shit out of them. To them, we are no more than livestock and their actions indicate as much.

Pink Floyd Animals (The entire album)

Many of us older fuckers know that the same shit plagues us today as it did 50 years ago, but in today's society, there is much new fodder for protest songs, but I doubt they will be as brilliantly done as Pink Floyd.

This was the longest running number 1 single of the 1980's in the U.K.

This is the 'Hibakusha mix' extended version.
The version which ended up on MTV had many bits of the clip edited out including the scene where Reagan bites Chernenko's ear, Tyson style.

Friggen great video

When two tribes go to war
A point is all that you can score
(Score them all, score them all)
When two tribes go to war
A point is all that you can score
(Working for the black gas)
Cowboy number one
A born-again poor man's son
(Poor man's son)
On the air America
I modeled shirts by Van Heusen
(Working for the black gas)
Yeah
You know
When two tribes go to war
A point is all you can score
(Storm them all, storm them all)
When two tribes go to war
A point is all you can score
Working for the black gas
Switch off your shield
Switch off and feel
I'm working on loving, yeah
Giving you back the good times
Ship it out, out
Working for the black gas
A point is all you can score
When two tribes go to war
When two tribes go to war
A point is all you can score
We got two tribes
We got the bomb
We got the bomb, yeah
Yeah
Sock it to me biscuits, now
Are we living in a land
Where sex and horror are the new Gods?
Yeah
When two tribes go to war
A point is all you can score

With it's name this band should be nominated for Shroomery mascot.

Needless to say this track is pretty relevant to these times.

I played a couple of their albums on YouTube yesterday. Detroit had some great bands.

The Oppressed - Fuck The U.S.A

There really is nothing nice about USA
You go to the hospital you have to pay
The dollar is the language they all speak
they don't really bother about radiation leak

Fuck the USA, Fuck the US
Sir yes Sir

They keep their secrets undercover
The rich don't bother about those that suffer
This ain't land of milk and honey
Cause all they want is money money money

Fuck the USA, Fuck the US
Sir yes Sir

Nuclear bombs are fuck all new
You'd better start running when they drop on you
Run in a shelter, play hide and seek
Cause when you die your body reeks

Fuck the USA, Fuck the US
Sir yes Sir

Judith Durham passed away yesterday   She was lead singer of The Seekers.
Archie Roach last Saturday, Judith Durham this Saturday. It's strange how things happen sometimes.

Their song, I Am Australian, is probably better known by most Australians than our National Anthem and that is not an exaggeration, well the chorus at least.
It's highly likely this song will one day replace our National Anthem, a song which most Aussies think sucks.

Bruce Woodley, guitarist of The Seekers wrote the song. It was sung by the public in the public gallery in Parliament House when the same sex marriage bill passed. It's been sung at sporting events, school concerts, it's the ABC's unofficial anthem, it's been sung in Aboriginal, it's a great song and Judith Durham was a great singer and our first truly international pop star.

Here she is at 70! singing it
