Say it out loud. He will hear. The spirit world has an open micophone, call him by name and say what you feel.
You might just get an answer.
For real man.

Netflix has a really awesome documentary about FZ called "Eat That Question" which features almost entirely footage of him from various eras, addressing many issues pertaining to and important to him.

The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

Cant say I was ever a fan of his as we had more than one "debate"...but if nothing else I respected and admired his fortitude. I pour a shot and bow my head to a worthy adversary.

He had a huge presence in the political forum and occasionally in the philosophy board. He will be missed

Eat That Question was a pretty good documentary although there was not much in there that I had not already seen elsewhere. I was unaware of it being on Netflix though.

Yeah, I thought of something the other day...some political debate I was involved in, no doubt...and remembered the crusty ol bastard. And that he was gone. And that this fact isn't going to change.

Right on.
He introduced me to, and made it a point that I go see Rubblebucket when they came to town. I guess it was summer 2015. Man...that conversation feels like it took place yesterday...
That lovely old fart shared some amazing music, with a lot of us.

I know this thread hasn't had a post in a while, but I feel it necessary for me to throw my 2 cents in.
It is so hard for me to imagine this guy being gone, him and I were pretty close on this forum. I feel even worse that I missed his death on this forum because I was too busy being a heroin addict and wasn't even on the boards at all, so I missed the opportunity to talk to him one last time, which really sucks. We pretty much agreed on everything and even spoke on the phone about hanging out one day. We ALWAYS discussed music together, and I think he was fond of me because he loved my taste in music, especially for my age. In his rating of me he called me his "doppelganger."
Quote:
It is getting a little weird about the music. Doppelgangers we are
I don't want to speak for the man, but I think he saw sort of a "son" quality in me. He and I agreed on virtually everything, he +1'ed my posts A LOT, and I did his, with good reason of course. I never saw him as an asshole, or as a hard ass, you guys gotta understand, the man grew up in Brooklyn, us New York City folk are just like that, we're a bit rough around the edges because, well... you try living here.
That's just how they are though, you may agree or disagree with them, but the only thing certain is getting an earful and getting called names if you argue, it's just how it is, none of you should have ever taken that personally. It sucks that he's not here, dude was awesome and I wish I could have hung out with him that time. The stuff we spoke about over the phone was awesome, he wanted LSD and well, I wanted to help him out, we planned on tripping together and listening to records and talking about what I'm sure were the wild days of his youth. The man was a good person.
Anyway, sorry to bring this thread back, but at the same time, I'm not sorry at all, to see someone's death thread fade away is depressing. Anyway, I had to get this out of my system because it was, for me, like losing my "Shroomery Dad."
