You make clean lc using clean myc on agar then pour into sterilized grain

For this sub 100% BE is 9400 wet grams which includes the coir and verm. I haven't included the casing since it barely colonized. Assuming 4.5 lbs dry was going to be 20,430 grams wet, a yield that size would be 217% BE.

A pretty lofty aim for such a large substrate. I can hit 200% with a fresh culture and smaller sub in a mini mono pretty easy. By the time it gets up to 66 quart it drops off to 175% usually, though I have made it up higher with a greater spawn ratio.

Sadly enough my first flush really let me down. But the second looks promising. I will toss up a pic soon.

Yeah and if you don't hit 6.75 lbs dry which is 5.4 oz per qt 37,800 grams wet 415% BE you aren't a master by azurs standards :rofl:
