waiting to birth jars...
    #2404629 - 03/04/04 11:34 PM (14 years, 3 months ago)

Allright...

2 weeks ago i innoculated 6 jars, and 3 of them are 90% colonized. I figure they will be done by the end of next week, BUT... thats when my spring break begins, and im going camping. How long can 100% colonized jars stay in the incubator?

Side note... These are B+, on BRF.
Side Side note... I also innoc'd 6 PRs on sunday and they are allready growing strong.

One more thing... i just boiled these jars, and have had no contams thus far. For my first time things are going great (thanks to the shroomery)

They can stay in for a week after finished, infact thats recommended, but if you planned on dunking them, you will have to remove the mushrooms that might start growing in the jar. Otherwise they will prolly be ok unless the jar is already dried out.

if you can keep them in the fridge or something do so, slows down myc growth and then u wont have as many nutritives eaten up by vegetative growth. You may have some invitro pins and yea you will have to take them off if you want to dunk
