Cleaning tubs is stupid easy. How easy is your job if cleaning 10-30 tubs is a daunting task lol. Even big tubs are easy in the shower. I just imagine a kitchen full of dirty dishes when people say misting tubs or washing tubs is "work"
All it takes is a wet rag or a sink sprayer. Boom washed.
They don't need to be sanitized or anything you're just going to expose them to dusty air. Wet paper towels will clean a tub in a jiffy.

I think that is just some bad info that noobs stumble across from reading all of the outdated posts that still exist on this website. Anyone with experience in this hobby would never claim that.
This is the type of crap that I am talking about with this particular site. Someone mentions something that they do that is essentially no harm, no foul and doesn't even affect others but must be ridiculed because it doesn't fit their standard.
I know for a fact that some growers such as Cron, use a liner and it is not because of side pins. Is he lazy and have a kitchen full of dirty dishes? You guys and your outrageous assumptions.

Wow! Refer back to my last post. Attitude over something that doesn't even affect you. That is big ego in a nutshell.

Fair enough. Please explain to me where the harm is in using a liner in these showboxes?

i wassnt talking about HARM in using a liner. i was talking about how confusing the intentions of the liner can be.
its my opinion that lots of people, myself included, have spent time, money and effort doing things that have little to ZERO impact of the perceived 'problem'

I’m the type to wash a dish as soon as I use it so nothing piles in the sink. I vacuum at least twice a week because of the amount of wbs I regularly spill prepping grains or spawning tubs. But when it comes to shoeboxes (not bigger tubs) when they’re flushed out and smelly and spores all over and caked on mycelium on the sides, sometimes it’s easier to just toss the bitch in fhe trash and spend 84 cents on a new one

Steevo said: So you're saying that you don't need to wash your totes if they have liners in them? What is this new fan dangled technology you speak of that doesn't require cleaning? Maybe somehow I can line my refrigerator, bathtub and carpeting in these so I don't have to clean them anymore
Sorry, I did not mean to derail your thread. I'll just stop posting in here after this. However, this is where the attitude started. It wasn't me who started it. I was simply explaining my position on why I use a liner and was faced with alot of scrutiny and false assumption. But like I said, I am sorry.

It's silly but i try to make as little waste as i can.. hate the thought of just throwing them away when it takes less than 10 seconds to clean them. to each their own.

I hear you on that. I started washing mine. Just making the comment. Like someone else said there’s no need to get panties in a wad because someone does something a certain way that another person would never do.
Never tried a liner myself but I wouldn’t not use one
