Oh. Okay. I was wrong. They are 4 gallon bags. They fit very nicely and you don't have to cut them.
Another thing that I was going to try was your run of the mill grocery bag (think safeway or wallyworld). They fit the 6quart pretty damn well and are essentially free.

Yeah. I'll have to try the grocery bags. I like that idea. Reduce, reuse and recycle.

I'd suggest trying to figure out your conditions rather than using liners. Its a lot easier to figure out these small containers than it is a large mono practice makes perfect

Liners don't prevent side pins. Some growers just don't like cleaning tubs.

I might try a liner for that reason.
I tried casing a shoebox of cubes and there are side pins galore. Decent amount of fruits on top, but not what I expected.

3rd shoebox with lots of side pins, I'm happy with the pinset on the surface though.
At least 5 sets of twin caps. This is the biggest one at the moment.

So you're saying that you don't need to wash your totes if they have liners in them? What is this new fan dangled technology you speak of that doesn't require cleaning? Maybe somehow I can line my refrigerator, bathtub and carpeting in these so I don't have to clean them anymore

I was figuring for cleaning.. go dump it under a tree.. wash tote.. reuse? seems like less work than a liner honestly..

If the liner is the only thing that touches the walls of the tub than what is there to actually clean?

Giving these shoeboxes a light misting results in small amounts of water getting between your liner and the container. It gives me peace of mind to wash my totes every time I go to reuse them. I try to keep my space as clean as possible but that's just me and my neurotic mind. As long as any moisture is getting between that liner and the container then I feel it needs to be cleaned

I would say that would be appropriate for a standard size mono because the walls are so tall but my 4 gallon trash bag liners are snug around the lip of the 6 qt shoeboxes. If anything, only the lid would need a quick wipe down with some iso.

cleaning a shoebox takes 10seconds in a bathroom sink. id like to see die hard liner users post pics of the under and sides of their substrates with the liner pulled back to truly show 'no side pins'
otherwise, IMO? how can anyone claim they use liners and never get side pins if you cant even see the damn things?
