How many flushes did you get out of that??
This is the first flush. My guess is I’ll get another flush 1/3-1/2 as big depending on how well I take care of it. And the third flush will be less than 20 fruits.

20 fruit... just one type of fruit is "fruit", even plural... if you had different types, it'd be "fruits"

CVG and love. 1:1 ratio.
I've been going on the light side of field capacity, and when I mix the spawn into the bulk I press down on the edges with the side of my hand. Then gently flatten out the whole sub again from the middle. I've cased at spawn 1/2" CVG. Once it's ready to pin I misted gently about 1 time a day until it looked good.
0 side pins on the first flush of several tubs like this now.
My guess is the lower water content and gently packing the edges keeps down the shrinkage, VERY light misting to start with promotes pinning. I had pretty good results with more water in my spawn too though... so maybe its more of the gentle packing and re-leveling.
No more rambling.

Know one person did but is yield increasing from the extra room for the canopy?
Ideally I want to just stack shoeboxes and fruit inside
Clearly it will work but how well. And how much do you fill it to allow fruiting in the box
I always use monos but want to see how this compares

I don't put them in monos thou. I either just leave the lids on or dub them.

God they want FAE so bad lol. I love APE pics though. Ever measure your Biological Efficiency?

No jesus christ needed like one said answer to question. Yes I am new and dumb but i don't understand gow they get plenty of fae or even grow when lid is fully closed. Yes, its ok when you dubtub or put in mono or humidity chamber or ziplock bag over etc but yeah dumb, very dumb dude don't understand how they fruit when fully closed lid.

Because they not mammals and don't have lungs that consume volumes of oxygen. Amongst other reasons.
And also those shoeboxes are not tightly sealed with the lid on, air gets trough and out like with most unmodified tubs with lids on. I bet a mouse could even survive in one of those tubs and it needs a lot more oxygen than a substrate. 👍

Best for no misting or very few is spawn to bulk in mono, do shoboxes in hc or do cakes? I mean what will dry out longest? Got no time but my first project is starting.

People here have so much problems with fae, skinny stems etc and some have even fans near tube but shrooms need very few oxygen?

Do shoeboxes as they are and cakes fruit in HC 👍

Did you go to similar English class as me?
Are you referring to what setup will slow down evaporation off substrate? For cakes or for bulk subs?

My English is very bad, something is readable out of my text i think Want to spawn cakes to bulk and i am thinking what will dry out slowest yes. Like put shoboxes top of soaking wet coir or spawn to direct mono or just do dubtub like you said to do with shoboxes. So dubtubing (shoebox covered shoebox?) need very few misting? And i don't have shoboxes or cakes yet, haven't decided what to do with jars, most are saying to do cakes and same time learn agar or bulk but i think that bulk is not that hard and don't need as much attention as regular cakes.

Shoeboxes or other bulk sub fruiting chambers don't need to be dub tubbed. Just put the lid on (don't freak out now)
Most usual way is simply flipping lid upsidedown or maybe leave some openings in the corners by off centering the lid a bit. (hope you can understand my Swenglish as well) I understand you perfect bro

Yes i understand you too yes they get fae with lid ajar like that and i know it, but i was asking what will dry out slowest, or need few misting hc, unmodified mono, regular mono or what kind of fruiting chamber?

AA+ is indeed sexy.
Would shoboxes in Unmodified mono (will put soaking wet coir bottom) and leave mono lid slightly ajar would be good idea?

The substrate which holds most water will utilize evaporation most effectively. Especially in an unmodified tub with the lid simply flipped. This will guarantee slow evaporation of the sub even in low RH, but I've fruited cakes without any verm on them totally naked inside the HC without misting them ONCE. And they fruited fine. I had the lid on regularly 'placed' on. I don't like to use the word 'snapped' on, it's not fair description of the IKEA tub lids which I believe are intentionally designed like that to 'breathe'.

I've done this once in a big 130L tub with lots of trays and I didn't like it at all, felt like air became more stagnant that way but don't ask me why. Intuitively it feels to me like a smäller micro climate atmosphere inside a shoebox will circulate air at a much faster rate than a much bigger tub would.
But I can't say that I'm able to give you an example of why fruiting inside a mono is bad or unpreferable.
See what works for you I guess

So you suggest doing just shoeboxes? How your 130l tub came out and how many shoboxes had in there?

Maybe you had just a bad week or something and that why didn't went well with this big tube everything can't go well all the time, all of us have bad days and shit smaller micro climate will be best so pic what i replyd to is better than wet coir? But when i put shoboxes in Unmodified mono, then put another shoebox top of fruiting shoebox or but lid on just mono or that no matter? Sorry for asking so much and shit
