Fungus, one of the most successful species in the history of the world. There is a reason it has been around for hundreds of millions of years. It's hard af to get rid of lol.

The high temp over the last 24 hours: 64°F, low 60°F. Humidity outside the boxes: 50%. The shrinking sub and disproportionately high number of side/bottom pins that actually seemed to be heathier than what's on top would indicate what?

Too wet dude. 50% humidity you could open air fruit all day.
I had a pinset like that and coincidentally the spores were from a none vendor and riddled with bacteria.

Don't tempt me, my rh is 60%. I'm not always around to tend an open air grow but it would be tits to open air fruit and get away with just misting twice a day at most.

Yikes. Okay, I'll take off the bags that I put on last night and see how they look 24 hours from now. Anything else you'd recommend? I got the spores from the same place as the last several grows, and those were solid as far as I could tell. Thanks for your advice!

Fingers crossed then, I guess. Better get the next set of BRF cakes going.
I'm unfamiliar with "tammed."

Yeeaahhhh I'm pretty much resigning myself to that after 24 hours without the bags. But who knows!

To me that looks like lack of light and overly wet sub...

When my spawn finishes, I'm spawning to Coir into a shoebox. I planned on just keeping the shoebox in my room... nothing special. Literally placing the shoebox on a table in my room with the lid on, then flip it after colonization. Nothing fancy.
Not sure what my RH is.. think it sitting at 60ish at the moment. Is that doable?

I would say anything below 40%.

Hi all - diving into my first shoebox this weekend. Two brief questions - When mixing w CVG, does the container it is colonizing in need holes in the lid? - When fruiting, is the latest and greatest hands-off tech juts flipping the lid/dub tubbing shoeboxes?
