Could be a bacterial infection that's causing that, I see metabolite's on the blobs or maybe it's just the light that makes it look yellowish/orangeish? Keep an eye on it (not literally) and hope for an okay flush! Gl

Bod checked the amber colored water that forms on blobs under a scope. He said he didn't find any bacteria in it. Or in the blobs he examined. I'll look for the link unless uve seen it. I think it was called primisca aka "wet bubble" or some shit like that. I'll look. It was interesting.

I'm having a hard time deciding what to do, so I figured I'd ask for your guys personal opinions.

If you are able to keep the surface conditions maintained, is there a noticable/worthwhile improvement in the pinset with flipping the lid after full colonization, as opposed to just leaving it snapped on until harvest?

My boxes don't dry out very fast usually, so I don't think that would be too big of an issue, and they usually have a decent amount of moisture on the surface. I'm just not sure if lid snapped on or flipped is best for pin development.

If I leave my lid snapped too long, it gets too humid inside and often results in the myc becoming "overgrown"

I think I’ll pull these tomorrow. Idk what’s up with the bruising on some of the fruits. Also got a weird mutant blob well I guess all blobs are mutants

Alright i just went ahead and flipped the lid on one of em. As of right now theres a ton of beads of moisture on the surface, so ill be sure to keep my eye on it and maintain those conditions. Thanks
