It was uneven from the start man u can try leveling it next time with the bottom of another shoebox

Thats actually a great idea lol, usually I use a short ruler for that. I didnt feel like fetching it for this box. not a trainsmash, I wasnt expecting this box to do anything other than stall or contam tbh

It might do fine. It's not contamed. Maybe a thick casing? It took awhile when I cases grains and I did it pretty thin. And yes take it with a ruler

How much better do tubs perform when sterilising coir first before spawning? (ofc clean spawn is first)

Idk I've never sterilized coir. Just bucket tek it. That manure ^^ I sterilized sorta. An hour in the pc instead of pasturizing
