Im not 100% sure. I just cant think of anything else i messed up on besides maybe making the sub a little too wet. Maybe i just didnt provide enough FAE? I flipped the lid once i began to see some pinning on the top/sides. In most of the tubs the side pins stopped and didnt get too crazy, but i got a lot of aborts and some fairly small fruits (2-3 inches tall).

Do you guys think i should not rehydrate, and just let them just keep doing there thing after i harvest? Or should i still bottom water, even though the coir was initially too wet? Ill post a picture of one of the 1 quart tubs below.
Ill probably finish harvesting tonight. If you zoom in you can see theres still a lot of moisture on the surface.
Just put the lid back on and only mist very lightly when needed. Personally I'd mist it once after harvest, put the lid on and wait for 2nd flush pins.
Alright sweet thats what ill do. Ill hold off on bottom watering unless it seems like it needs it once the pinset is in. Thanks for the help

Looks like a pretty good box to me, only thing I see is yeah like he said, maybe needed more air but I don't think that would cause an either but maybe.

I know Im thinking its because i made my coir too wet Im hoping i can make up for all of those aborts in the next flushes.
Judging by their fuzzy, even flattened feet,I believe FAE to be root... perhaps increasing air may help? Even if too much moisture is present, these guys needed air
EDIT: or contaminant...
Yeah I donβt think there is any contaminants in there just fuzzy feet from low FAE. I was just talking about that one maturing before th other one though. Iβll have to let it drop spores for a bit while I wait on the adjacent ones to finish.

could this potentially be caused by over misting during the pins formation? I'm still pretty nooby so I could very well be wrong.

If youΒ΄re spawning to 6qt shoeboxes then you can easily make 6 boxes with one brick.

Read this thread from the beginning and you will basically know everything you need to know to grow a shit ton of shrooms
After you pour and inoculate you then wrap the dishes with saran wrap or cling wrap. GL
