first run with shoeboxes and first grow in years
started paying attention to surface conditions a little late so i got a bunch of side pins
will pay closer attention to the boxes i have colonizing right now
i think i will have a little more wiggle room because they are 2 quarts to 2 quarts
the picture is one quart to one quart

This is exactly what happened to my first couple of boxes. I'm keeping the surface of them misted from now on.

This. If I don't give my SBs a couple of sprays every day or two during the spawn run then the surface gets dry and matted.

AA+. Used half a grain spawn jar to inoculate 5 jars G2G style and then used the other half and spawned it in a shoebox at a 1:3 ratio.

I'm not sure if I would eat mushrooms grown by trich, or with mold on caps. While extremely uncertain IC/PBS might be one thing that mycotoxin from doing so can cause. It shouldnt be ruled out.

Oh damn. I though a lot of people tossed their contained tubs outside! Maybe I won’t eat them then. Does anyone else know anything about this?

And some other stuff saying as long as it’s not physically on the mushroom it’s fine but idk. I guess I’ll keep it in a seperate jar lol

Have you ever had a pain come from left of your belly button and layed down? mine started not too long after I messed around with molds.

I laughed so hard reading that for some reason.
Also green mold can be harmful if you already have issues with mild. My lungs are extremely sensitive to green mold because I grew up breathing black mold every day of my life. Pretty much gave me pneumonia minus the actual pneumonia infection. If I don't toss a tub going green I won't be able to walk for a day. So not every body has issues with green mold, only if you have been scarred by it.
