What's your procedure for fruiting the bigger tubs ?
For instance when and in what ways do you increase fae...?
I usually go flip lif after pins then dub when needed.
What would you recommend for the bigger tubs..?

i treat em all the same flipped lid after a certain point with unmodded tubs in my closet. if its nice outside i open my windows so i guess i increase fae that way i honestly dont think about it.
the 16qt tubs are scaled up shoeboxes anyway so its only common sense to treat them the exact same. larger tubs usually have sweet grooves in the lids. like they were purposely fabricated just for me to flip for mushcult

You guys like to cut or pull during harvest? I did the cut method for all three of my shoeboxes but I feel like the second flush is going to be terrible because of all of the nubs. I’ll post some pics in a few just figured I’d ask what you guys do. I’m getting the second flush pins coming but not many.

Yeah the cutting was super easy and fast. I haven’t tried the twist and pull yet but don’t know if I will. Trying three different methods right now. One I dubbed, one with lid snapped, and one with lid loose while waiting for the second flush to see what worked best. So far the dubbed one showed pins the fastest with the unsnapped close second and snapped on in last place. First two pictures are the dub, second two are the lid loose, last two are the snapped on lids

I have that guys growing on a stump

Thats third flush, i can see primordia on a lots of stump now, dunno if they gonna pop
So yes they can grow on stump, but they mostly tend to grow from the ground.

Lately I have been fruiting my shoeboxes in modded monos that have nothing on the holes and in my old SGFC for my cakes
I leave the lid snapped during colonization and until I get some pins, then once they begin to extend, I remove the lid and leave it in the mono.
I'm only home to check on mush cult 2X per day then off to the gf house (maybe moving in soon and building a flowhood/grow room in the basement hehe) so this method works well for me to keep humidity but also have decent FAE. The last 15 or so varieties I have done this way in shoeboxes with mono/SGFC.
i also used to carefully rip, but now I do the cut method (I pull it out by the liner and then cut with a serrated knife as close to the sub as possible)

Any precautions I should take to save the other tubs? Or toss those also? I guess bleach the area but I know I released them into the room now also. I’ve heard it can ruin future projects as well so now I’m just bugging out lol

You can see sclerotia in the box at the back on the right. That's Atlantis, rest is temazepac.
