not quite.. i said i always pack the sides, like you mentioned, but on a current shoebox i REALLY packed it tight.
i did ponder the thought but i did not state it as fact or anything. its purely anecdotal.

Your right, I need to watch how I word things. But you might be on to something.
Now I need to figure out how to stop the accumulation of water on the sides of my subs. I get slight yellowing of the water that collects, from dripping down the sides. Aside from wiping the sides, any other tricks?

Out of 4 shoeboxes I've done so far I seem to get about 1-1.25 dry oz per mycoquart of spawn. I do each one with 1.5 or 2 qts and I've gotten just about an oz and a half to two oz's on first flush for all of them. Got almost three from one with 2qts.

the pins were super dense. not really clusters just lots of them

ended up putting out 333.7grams wet from 1 mycoquart wbs to equal parts 'pcvg'

the other two shoeboxes, AA+ and mexican cube, made for this write up are about 6hrs away from picking. although i could do it now.

mushboy said: picked the mexican and aa+

mexican cube was 395.6grams. 2quarts spawn.
aa+ also 2 quarts only came in at 202.. half of the tray was behind so it should put out another 100-150g wet.

mexican had this weirdo growing in it. its like 3 shrooms fused into 1.

so with the maz shoebox and these two thats 932.1grams wet. plus whatever the other half of the aa+ puts out. ive been noticing that the shoeboxes made with 1 quart put out better BE then the 2quarts.

 I'm addicted to em.
I took a gram the other night and didn't have much of a visual trip or body load but had lots of energy and creative feelings, so my girl and I moved around all the furniture and it's much more conducive to organized growing while keeping it separate from most of our living area. She was getting tired of jars and tubs in random spots. Labeling is super important

I gotta pick me up some of those ones with the clear lids this weekend. They are calling to me for my Tamp project...
Looks like to me I'll be in the 1q spawn / 1q coir camp when I fruit them as I hear they like it thin. Sound about right? (Trying to figure out how many to pick up initially)

I usually grab the whole stack. If you are anything like me, you'll use them.

Trust me - if I'm buying them, she knows what they are for... I'm starting to capsulize my shrooms to save space as I'm running out of room in my cabinet... Its a burden I bear...

What causes second flush fruits to be bigger than the first? Didn't take pics but as of this morning the several fruits in each shoebox are still in the pin stage but are already bigger than the fully mature fruits from the first flush on each of them

id say something with distribution of resources?
like, if you have 5 lbs of food for 5 people.. you give 5 portions. if you have 5 lbs of food and 50 people.. the portions become smaller.
or something. i dunno. ask bod.

Gentics . the bigger fruits have slower genes which is common in most grows if you look at an isolate grow you have no such problems. Look up pastys spawns a bath tub and read with pictures the whole thread the fruit stay the same size
