I probably should've dubbed these 2nd flush Redspore before work.
Kinda like a turkey pop-up timer. They're done!
I have to admit,I never flip my shoebox lids.Sometimes I unsnap them for FAE,but they will still grow with it snapped.

The last box of my PE run.

First flush. Some of them look like they're just asking to be swabbed.

Those in my sig are actually from the wild.Way back before I knew anything, there was a farmer who would dump his stable waste/bedding/hpoo in his field.Aged mounds everywhere. The ground felt like a sponge in places.Looking back it was the perfect storm.Found multiple clusters like this all summer, and giant capped cubes.(we called 'em whoppers, cause the caps were the size of the burger) Wish I would've taken more pics,but....
Got me reminiscing... Sorry to derail.

He’ll yeah man I’m going to start looking in my neighbors yard they have horses but I never really checked in the field. They wouldn’t mind at all either.

Im having a box ready for fruiting, my 3d try, previous boxes got infested with bananaflies while dubtubing (just put another box on top so they came in through the crack between). So i wonder if to this time put it in a 60L mono or dubtub and close the crack with micropore all the way around?

Banana flies? You must mean dog pecker gnats. I've had those before in my tubs. The only thing that got rid of them was to remove the tub from the room.
If you can just put it outside to finish. Those fuckers will start to swarm in your grow area. Especially since it's summer now.
Edit. Sorry. I thought you currently had them. Your idea sounds ok, but if you put multiple shoeboxes in a mono you want to leave the lid off the shoeboxes tho.

First shoebox harvest, 200g cubes. Happy with that and have abort tea on the simmer. Due to the amount of side growth, I pulled a few chunks of sub off, but hopefully will not have an impact. Onwards we go.

Not my first shoebox, but the first one grown outside of a greenhouse.

And the two gigantors I decided to go ahead and harvest (the larger one is 38g):

First flush of the last box of my PE run. Probably let them go a bit long. This flush blued the shit out of my sub.

373g wet after clean-up. Not too shabby for 4 BRF cakes spawned. I have to say it again, being my first run with PE,I am happily surprised with the outcome. PE has been one of my highest yielders all around.

honestly its no different. its all about the same just depends on your ambient conditions. i grow lots of ways and use what works best.
