Not really. It doesn't have to be exact. Less than 1qt spawn to a full qt sub is fine

So after seven days or so I decided to open my lid to look at them and holy shit it’s Pin City! Being my first grow I’m super excited I didn’t think it’d even work for me! It may not be the most even Pin set but I’ll take it! The picture doesn’t look as good as it does up close and personal but if you zoom you can see them. All three are looking like this

Woohoo!! Joining the shoebox club!!

Sterilized 80/20 CVG. Spawn: White millet, PES Hawaiian MS. 1:2 spawn sub ratio. Used block coir so I PCed it because it looked a little sketchy I even found some odd grassy jungle turd in it and some straw.
This hobbie is the greatest.

Quick question for the more experienced. Can I stack a couple shoeboxes on top of each other or will it prevent proper airflow to the sub?

It's worked fine for me every time I've done it. There are little ridges on the bottom of the lid that allow air to flow no matter what. I'm pretty new to this hobby but I've done that a lot and never had a problem.

APE tubs are ripping threw the CVG, done up on 5/30, so exciting. I also got two baby trays with latch lids in a shoe box, I had an extra pint of spawn so I split it 1:1 CVG in two small trays a few days prior and got my first dicks! Almost time for the big reveal, been working on a log for these APES as there's a extra back story to these guys, hopefully finish up soon

Shouldn't be an issue.
If the sub is deep it can push out the sides and create gaps from supporting weight.
If it's not deep or heavy on top, shouldn't make much difference in that respecr.
Seems to potentially impact normal condensation. The sub is warm sitting on top whereas without the warm sub it would be cooler air.
If you can't get around stacking them go for it.
Munch seemed to do it fine with his boxes, (his sub seemed shallow), pics on page 1 and 2 I believe, or somewhere close to that.
Other places too but idr where.

Those look good. Do LGT have a longer run time? I've had a box of them sitting for a month now and apart from 2 side pins it hasnt done much of anything :/

Both tubs were spawned on the 20th. So as far as I know they fruit pretty regularly. I mean they're golden teachers so yeah... pics of your tub?

Here’s an update on my 3 tubs

I don’t know whether I should mist or not. The top looks kind of dry to me but I’m not positive. I’m not getting any side pinning so I assume the top is okay but it just seems dry. What are you’re guys opinions?

Liking shoeboxes more and more.

They hold good conditions on their own without any modification. Really dig it.

Nice thats a lot better than what im getting. Coincidentally two more jars that were g2g from the one used in the pictures i posted but those have now been 100% for over a week so those might be fucked as well. Maybe theyll give more than te first one though. Im worried if the ones going rn are contaminated wiy bacteria though so im scared to try cloning. Im assuming its dangerous to eat any fruits that might have bacteria right? I’ll post pics of what looks sketchy this afternoon.

Shit that looks good. I have some boxes pinning and I can't wait to see them later when I get home. Hope they look like that
